Silicone, water, dry river bed Taos New Mexico summer 2002

Sippapu: a place or thing that gives a feeling of redemption when touched. 28 days of hommage to the drought

Daily meditations, I made an individual silicone sippapu every 4 hours, over a period of 30 days, Embedding them daily in a local dry riverbed. filling them with water and placing them in a dry river bed. Silicone as a manufactured product, can be is used to seal water pipes in kitchens and bathrooms, absorb heat, form furniture.
